On Thursday, September 14, 2023, Smartshore is hosting and organizing yet another 3rd Strapi NL MeetUp at our Utrecht office.
Strapi is a headless CMS that gives developers the freedom to use their favorite tools and frameworks, while editors can manage content and easily distribute it anywhere.
We will start at 6 p.m. with good food and drinks before we get into the presentations. We’ll close with an oldskool Dutch ‘Drink’!
We have 3 topics & presenters:
- Paul Bratslavsky (Strapi): Structuring data in the admin panel using content types, dynamic zones, components and relationships.
- Vincent Verhoeven (Buro26): Unleash Your Power – a platform created with Strapi and Typescript and GraphQL
- Boegie19 (Strapi developer community): The Strapi “entity-service decorators” & the Strapi “Eventhub”.
The Strapi backend provides an Entity Service API built on top of the Query Engine API. The Entity Service is the layer that handles Strapi’s complex data structures such as components and dynamic zones and uses the Query Engine API under the hood to perform database queries.
The object `strapi.eventHub` is used to manipulate events within a Strapi project. It is an instance of the built-in EventEmitter class of Node.js, which provides a simple way to broadcast events and listen to them.
