The Province of South Holland has an enormous amount of data. To find and use this data, a smart portal with a powerful search function was needed. We got to work together with our BI team.
PZH wanted an accessible platform for everyone – both internal employees and the public. On the platform you can find data, upload and arrange your own data, and share your knowledge with each other. Some key features include smart search, flexibility in data formats, and simple, intuitive design.
All data in 1 place
Employees of the province of South Holland find the necessary information in a fraction of a second. They can also review the data quality and contact the person who uploaded the data. This helps to improve access to the information together. This project is under the initiative of the government to increase their transparency.
Scrum with the government
Many departments of the Province of South Holland were involved in this project. In addition, there was close collaboration with the Business Intelligence team of KBenP, the UX team and the development team. This great variety makes it difficult to keep an overview of the entire project, which is precisely why a Scrum approach was chosen. This enabled us to deliver in small iterations and to demonstrate to all stakeholders. In this way, coordination was always sought with all those involved and we were sure that we were taking every step in the right direction.
